Central Asia

Central Asia

Central Asia is one of the fastest-growing corridors for Chinese vehicles. All five countries sit on the overland and rail routes from China (via Khorgos and the Caspian), and Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and the broader EAEU framework shape the tariff rules. This guide summarises the real import framework for each country: age limits, duties, ports, certification and documents. Figures are indicative — always confirm with the destination customs before shipping.

Our experience in this region

EZ Auto is based in China (Zhengzhou, Henan) with 15–20 years in the country's car export trade. Central Asia is a core corridor for vehicle exports from China, and we ship new and used cars built in China there through established overland and rail routes with complete export documentation. Local import clearance is arranged by the buyer or a licensed broker; we provide all paperwork and per-country guidance. We do not operate local offices in Central Asia — every car is sourced and inspected in China before shipment.

FAQ

Can EZ Auto ship cars to Central Asia?
Yes. We export new and used Chinese vehicles to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, with full export documents and door-to-port logistics via the Khorgos and Caspian corridors.
Do you handle import clearance in my country?
Export clearance in China is on us. Import clearance is handled by you or your local broker; we supply all documents and advise on requirements per country.
How long does shipping from China to Central Asia take?
Overland and rail shipments via Khorgos typically take about 15–25 days to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, longer onward to Turkmenistan. Transit times vary with border clearance and season, so we confirm the current schedule for your specific route and port before you book.
Can I import a right-hand-drive car into Central Asia?
No. All five Central Asian countries require left-hand-drive vehicles, and Turkmenistan additionally restricts certain vehicle colours. Sourcing a left-hand-drive specification from the factory is far cheaper than trying to convert a right-hand-drive car later, so we confirm the steering configuration before you order.
Which Chinese vehicles sell best in Central Asia?
Durable, easy-to-service petrol SUVs and pickups dominate, alongside a fast-growing share of new energy vehicles as charging networks expand in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Because age limits and emission floors differ per country, we match the model to your destination rules before quoting, rather than offering a one-size list.
