Suspension and Steering Parts for China-Made Vehicles

What suspension and steering parts do you export and how is fitment confirmed?

We export shock absorbers, struts, ball joints, tie rods, control-arm bushes and wheel bearings for vehicles built in China and universal applications. Parts are endurance tested and matched by model year and drive side, because steering and some suspension parts differ between left- and right-hand drive. Fitment is confirmed by OE number or VIN before shipment.

Suspension and steering decide how a vehicle feels and, more importantly, how it stays controllable. Worn dampers, loose ball joints and tired bushes creep in gradually, so they are a steady replacement market. This page covers the parts we source, why drive side and model year change the part, and how we confirm fitment. As always, we quote against an OE number, VIN or model year.

What we supply

The range is shock absorbers and struts, ball joints, tie rods and ends, control-arm bushes, stabiliser links and wheel bearings. These restore ride quality and steering precision when original components age. We carry them for the vehicles we export (any car built in China) and for universal applications where the geometry is shared.

Suspension parts take constant load and road shock, so we specify endurance-tested builds and confirm the mounting points and thread details before quoting. A part that is close but not exact will wear fast or fit badly, which is why the OE number leads.

Drive side and model year matter

Steering and some suspension parts differ between left- and right-hand drive, and the change is invisible from the model name. A tie rod or steering knit that fits one drive side may not suit the other, and facelifts move the mounting points. We always record drive side and model year, then verify against the VIN.

This is a category where a wrong part is annoying rather than dangerous, but the cost of a return across an ocean is real. Confirming drive side and year up front is the cheapest insurance on the order.

Materials and endurance

Dampers are specified for the spring rate and the duty the vehicle sees; bushes are specified for the temperature and the fluid exposure. Wheel bearings are matched to the hub and the load rating. These choices decide how long the part lasts under real road conditions, not just on a bench.

Endurance testing matters most on rough and unpaved roads, where suspension wear accelerates. For those markets we raise the specification and can split a shipment into heavier-duty variants for the harshest routes.

Climate and road fit

Dusty and unpaved roads, wide temperature swings and de-icing salt all attack suspension and steering. Sealed joints, corrosion-protected surfaces and boot-protected rods extend life in those conditions. We specify for the climate and the road type, not a generic global average.

Suspension and steering are also covered by certification regimes in some markets, for example as high-risk items under EAC in the EAEU, so we plan the documents alongside the part where required.

Replace shocks in axle pairs

Replace shock absorbers in axle pairs — otherwise uneven damping causes pulling and uneven tyre wear.

Left / right and front / rear

Control arms and ball joints are handed and position-specific. State left / right and front / rear when requesting a quote.

Wheel bearing generations

Wheel bearings come in 1st / 2nd / 3rd generation (3rd includes ABS). We confirm by VIN before quoting.

FAQ

Do left- and right-hand drive use different parts?

For steering and some suspension parts, yes. They are not interchangeable, so we always record drive side and confirm it against the VIN before quoting.

Can I order a full suspension refresh kit?

Yes. Dampers, ball joints, tie rods, bushes and links can be quoted as a kit for a model, or as individual lines, all matched by OE number or VIN.

Are the parts endurance tested?

Yes. Suspension parts are endurance tested and specified for the load and road condition, which is what protects life on rough or unpaved routes.

Why does model year change suspension parts?

Facelifts move mounting points and thread details, so the same model name across years can need different arms, links or struts. We verify against year and VIN.

How do you handle salty or dusty roads?

We specify sealed joints, boot-protected rods and corrosion-protected surfaces, and can split a shipment into heavier-duty variants for harsh routes.

Do suspension parts need certification documents?

In some markets, such as under EAC in the EAEU, steering and related items are high-risk categories. We prepare the required documents per order and confirm them in writing.
